Job Title:        Paraplanning Team Leader/Manager
Location:        Wolverhampton

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanning Team Leader or Manager to head up our busy and expanding team of Paraplanners, based in our Wolverhampton office. You will have previous line management experience and will be responsible for the day to day running of the team, liaising and working closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of the team.  You will liaise with our financial planners to advise on timescales for reports produced by the team and be the ‘go to’ person within the business for paraplanning, working closely with the Office Managers and Compliance/T&C Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient business flow.
You will also be using your existing knowledge and experience to write suitability reports and conduct research as required to support Adviser recommendations.

Applicants should have strong current technical and product knowledge, including pensions. Awareness of markets and industry regulations are essential. Strong written and oral communication skills, together with sound team management and relationship building experience. Good planning and organising skills and being able to manage multiple tasks effectively are also essential to the role.

The successful applicant will hold a minimum of Level 4 Diploma qualification.

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to listen and follow instruction effectively are extremely important. Good planning and organising skills and being able to manage multiple tasks effectively are also essential to the role.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Paraplanner, and will ideally hold or be a significant way towards their Level 4 Diploma qualification.
