  • The shareholders of Hobson Financial Planning Ltd entered into an agreement with Newell Palmer to acquire the whole of the share capital in October 2010.

    Newell Palmer have acted in a professional manner throughout the buy out period and have made all payments in accord with the agreement in a timely fashion, which has now been concluded.

    Client retention has been generally good with the odd exception which has usually been outside the control of Newell Palmer.

  • In 2012 – with my own retirement no longer a distant event – the priority was to move my corporate and private clients into an alternative professional environment that could deliver appropriate advice and provide servicing support in the longer term.
