Individuals hoping to gain more information on ways in which to file and pay their VAT, PAYE and corporation taxes could be helped by a new Super Podcast being launched by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
The organisation, which was formed on 18 April 2005, unveiled the service as a way to inform customers of any major changes to these systems in the future.
Issues highlighted included upcoming VAT amendments, which are due to come into force on 1 April 2010, requiring a number of people to file their returns online.
Stephen Banyard, director of the HMRC's business customer unit, said that the podcast is a "great way" for taxpayers to get themselves up-to-speed on matters which may affect them.
It is important that anyone who is unsure of what the changes will mean takes the time to download the information source and listens to the information it provides, he added.
