Peter Bannister

Peter started in the Financial Services Industry in 1984 and joined Newell Palmer in 1994 as an Independent Financial Adviser. He was appointed a director in 1997 and soon became involved in establishing new business ventures within the group. He was responsible for the day to day running of one of our sister companies Newell Palmer Financial Planning before returning back to Newell Palmer & Associates.

His main role now is managing the company’s model investment portfolios and is chairman of the group’s investment committee. As well as this Peter continues to advise many of the company’s key investment clients. His qualifications include the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) and the Investment Managers Certificate (IMC).

Outside work, Peter is a keen golfer and is kept busy at home with the family’s interest in horses.
