Alan Martin

Alan began his marketing career with Opportunity Wales, a Welsh business support organisation in 2002, where he worked for over 4 years gaining valuable experience of working within the marketing sector. In 2007 Alan relocated to the West Midlands and joined Birmingham City Council's Marketing Department, coordinating press campaigns and public events. Following his employment with Birmingham City Council Alan joined Newell Palmer Group, where his role has developed and in 2009 became a member of the Management Team.

Alan's remit at Newell Palmer is quite diverse, predominantly focusing on marketing activities for the four companies within the Group. He is also heavily involved with the IT needs for the organisation and works on a range of special projects; including work around acquisitions and mergers.

Outside of work, Alan enjoys socialising with friends, running to keep fit and returning to Wales whenever possible to see his family.
